Teaming up takes just a few taps:

You can only pair with one friend, and you stay partners until the event ends, so choose your favorite merger! Friends who are already paired, or who don't meet the event's requirements, can't be invited.

Splits are the in-game currency for the merge event. You'll see your Splits on the board, on the left side. You get them by playing the game, joining events, and from promotions.

Ready to make some items? Tap the producer on the board and it creates new items for you to merge. You need Splits to use the producer, so keep an eye on your balance. Running low? Keep playing to collect more and jump right back in! 🎯

Special items pop up on your board as you merge your regular items. Spot one? Here's what to do with it:

• 👆 Tap once: peek at how many points the item is worth.
• ✌️ Double-tap: collect the item and send its points straight to the shared bar. Your partner sees the bar move too!
• 🔗 Merge two matching items: create a higher-level item that's worth even more points.
• 🔒 Items that can't be collected: lower-level items aren't worth points yet. Merge them with a matching item to level them up first.

Board packed? No worries. New special items go to the Stack, so you won't miss a single one.

The moment you and a friend pair up, your points join forces. If you have 1,000 points and your friend has 300, your shared bar starts at 1,300. ⚡

Rewards you already got before pairing won't be given again. And if your combined points complete one or more levels, you both get those rewards right away!

Every time a bar level fills, you and your partner both get that level's reward at the same time. Some rewards are items that fly out onto your board, so you can start merging them right away. If your board is full, they go to the Stack. 🎉

Got a big collection? If it pushes the bar past the end of a level, the extra points carry into the next level. If several levels fill at once, you get all their rewards together.

Tap the shared bar to open the rewards map. It shows every level, its reward, and how far you've come. 🗺️

Your partner's points are saved, and the bar updates as soon as they come back. Nothing is lost!

The event ends when either of these happens first:

• 🏆 You've completed every level of the main merge bar and the shared bar.
• ⌛ The event timer runs out.

Once the shared bar is complete, no more special items appear, and any left on your board are removed. You can keep merging on the main board until the event ends.

Can I play Merge Mates in Coin Master without a partner?

Yes! You can play the whole event and collect special items on your own. Your points carry over when a friend accepts your invite. 🙌

Can I change my Merge Mates partner in Coin Master?

No. Once you're paired, you stay partners until the event ends, so pick a friend who loves to merge.

Do I get rewards even if my partner plays more than me?

Yes. Both partners get the reward for every level the shared bar completes, no matter who collected more points. 💪

Why can't I collect some Merge Mates items in Coin Master?

Lower-level special items aren't worth points yet. Merge two matching ones to make a higher-level item that you can double-tap to collect.

Where do my Merge Mates rewards go?

Items from level rewards fly onto your merge board. Anything that doesn't fit goes to the Stack.
