Getting Speedies & Building Your Group 🤸🤸🏻♀️
Before the big race begins, you'll have some time to find your partner and collect a special currency called Speedies, which you can earn throughout the game, in events, and from promotions. A timer on the event screen will show you when the Championship starts.
During this pre‑event phase, you'll see a Championship screen where you can collect Speedies and team up with 1 other player before the timer runs out.
Building Your Group 🏭
If you're active during the pre‑event, you'll have the amazing chance to choose your partner.
Here's how it works:
- Start or join a group of 2 players during the pre‑event phase.
- Invite a friend: Use the green add button on the "Build Your Team!" tab to invite a Coin Master friend to be your partner.
- Join a friend's group: If a friend invites you, you'll join their group as their partner.
If you don't have a friend to team up with, no worries! As long as you're active in Coin Master during the group‑building time before the event, an autofill system will match you with a partner so you're always ready to race. 🙌
If you miss the pre‑event, you can still join when the event starts. You won't be able to choose your partner at that point, but you'll be matched with one at kickoff.
⭐️ Keep in Mind:
- Once you join a group, you can't leave it. The group you're in when the Championship starts is your final group. 🛑
- Any of your leftover Speedies will be converted into Spins after the Championship ends.
🌀🏎️ How to Play the Championship - Spinning & Racing
Once you and your partner are ready and the group-building timer has ended, it's time to hit the track!
1️⃣ Spin the Wheel
- Use the Speedies you've collected to spin the wheel and watch the points roll in.
- Tap on the multiplier to increase the Speedies you use and the number of places your group moves.
- Keep an eye out for the Mega Move tile – it means you've earned some major points!
- Look for the Bonus tile - it'll multiply the results of your next spin!
2️⃣ Advance on the Progress Bar
Each round has its own progress bar and rewards. As your group earns points, you'll advance along the current round's milestone bar, and each milestone you reach unlocks awesome rewards for your group! Even if you've completed the milestone bar, keep spinning to get points.
⭐️ Keep in Mind: All the rewards you unlock are granted at the end of the Championship, after all 3 rounds are over.
3️⃣ Race Through the 3 Rounds
Speed Stars has 3 consecutive rounds within the same event. Each group is represented by a different-colored car that moves forward on the track with every point you earn. You'll see your color on your picture badge under the event name. Look out for that same-colored car and watch as it races head-to-head with others!
At the end of each round, you'll see the leaderboard so you know exactly where your group stands before the next round begins.
4️⃣ Leaderboards & Prizes
Be the group with the highest total score earned from all 3 rounds together to win the entire competition and claim the Grand Prize! 🏆
To be eligible for the Grand Prize, you'll need to reach a minimum contribution, so keep spinning and adding points for your group!
On the main event page, you'll see your group's current position within the ongoing round - shown by the groups' cars.
⭐️ Keep in Mind: The grand prize reward is granted at the end of the Championship, after Round 3 is over.
